Synopsis on Proposed Area of Study:  
Corporate Learning Systems and Knowledge Management.  
"A Learning Organisation is one in which people at all levels, individuals and collectively, are continually increasing their capacity to produce results they really care about”- RICHARD KHARASH.  
 
This statement marks the beginning of my journey into the deep wild woods of corporate training. I call it deep and wild as they are less traveled and have a mystique and aura about them. I seek to understand the various reasons why organizations emphasize on training programmes, training initiatives, invest resources in training. The more an organization attempts to be a learning organization the more it grows in the hearts and minds of its customers.  
 
 
The internal customers become the messengers of Corporate Training Practices and create a sense of well being, achieve great heights in their professional career path and deliver more to the company in turn.  
 
The immense sense of pride for the employees is a function of two key elements:

(1) Self inclination to learn new skills, new techniques.
(2) The organization creating a platform and providing an opportunity for the employees to learn.
 
 
 
 
Both of these should be present in large proportions as both complement each other to make any Corporate Training not a mere assignment or course but a way of life .

It’s a part of Corporate Life which makes you tick. An individual works, earns, get rewarded for the effort he /she puts in and adds value to the organization.

With Corporate Learning Systems in place this is a continuous process. It leads to learning more ,getting back to books ,theory ,corporate training programmes and again earning ,this time with higher efficiency ,more sensitivity , with higher levels of delivery, higher rewards and appreciate the Cyclic Nature of the process.

It’s more like the theory of orbits wherein each one is happy when one is in his own orbit. In order to go to a higher orbit a huge amount of push and energy is needed, this Push can be provided by Providers of Education, Institutions, and Superiors.
 
 
 
 
From the organizations perspective, my study will make an attempt to answer the following moot question
